Risk Management Job description – UK ERM Consulting role

This Risk Management Job Description describes an opportunity to join a unique global consulting organisation within the UK Enterprise Risk Management Practice.

Opportunities exist at Consultant, Senior Consultant and Managing Consultant levels.

A recognised leader in Enterprise Risk Management Consulting and ERM thought leadership and development. Our client is not a typical limited company or Partnership ownership model.

Set up as an Independent Foundation in 1864 our client focuses on safeguarding life, property, and the environment, with a range of business operations employing over 8,000 people.

Existing consultants with experience of working for other mainstream consulting firms, describe our client as different for the following reasons –

• Commercially less short-term focused than they had been used to.

• Freedom to manage own work.

• Low attrition rate.

• A very friendly and supportive culture.

• Excellent funded training schemes.

They are looking for highly talented consultants with great future potential, and a desire to focus on strategic Enterprise Risk Management.

This means at Consultant level, you must have at least 2 years external client facing experience gained within a respected consulting firm.

However this consulting experience can have been gained in any strategic area of management consulting; for example Change management within a major transformation programme.

For roles at Senior and Managing Consultant level it is expected that you would have a minimum of 4 years Risk Management Consulting experience.

The ability to build strong client relationships is absolutely critical at all levels.

Salary is upper quartile typically a base between £40-80k dependent on experience, with bonus, and flexible benefits.

London is the main consulting location, though opportunities do arise across the UK and Scotland.
