The UK based Consulting operation is looking to enhance its core risk and safety engineers working in the high risk sectors of oil, gas, transport and nuclear sectors. They recruit and develop high calibre staff who thrive on supporting client compliance and change requirements. Candidates at graduate entry level should have a strong academic background in engineering or other relevant discipline. An MSc or PhD in a safety and/or reliability related topic would be an advantage. In addition to a strong academic background and, preferably membership of a professional institution, more experienced candidates should have technical expertise, which includes detailed knowledge of some of the following: HAZOP/HAZID; QRA, Consequence Modelling, Fault and Event Tree Modelling, SIL Assessment; RAMS, Safety Cases; Safety Management Systems; Safety Auditing; Process Safety Reviews; Accident Investigation. Candidates need to be highly motivated and to take ownership of client problems and deliver added value solutions. Roles are based across the UK out of main office locations in Aberdeen, Warrington, Solihull and Crawley. Salaries reflect experience between £30k for a junior consultant up to £65k for a principal level consultant. Additional benefits include car allowance (dependent on grade) bonus, pension and insurances.
