Lead Project Risk Management Consultant, you will be identifying business opportunities, developing customer relationships and executing work programmes within our project risk management consultancy business. This is a senior position requiring recent experience in developing through life project risk management strategies and applying the project risk Management processes and techniques. The candidate will hold an engineering or business related degree and should have experience of working within defence sector on project risk and opportunity management. Recent experience of leading significant project teams during the development and implementation of risk management strategies within the Ministry of Defence’s SMART acquisition framework. A good understanding and track record of formal project risk assessment and reduction techniques as applied to complex defence acquisition programmes (including risk identification, analysis and reduction, mitigation planning, risk registers, three point estimating, risk maturity modelling) is essential. Preferably you will have held a recent position within a consultancy business environment working as a project risk management consultant. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. Roles are based across the UK out of main office locations in Dorking, Bristol, Burton-on-Trent, Glasgow, Plymouth, Warrington and Dorchester. Salaries reflect experience between £50k to £70k for a principal level consultant. Additional benefits include car allowance (dependent on grade) bonus, pension and insurances.
