Job Interview
A review of "Killer Interview Secrets"
By Robert Lawrence

Improving your job interview skills will make you embarrassingly wealthy, effortlessly successful, and irresistible to the opposite sex.

This may be stretching it just slightly.....

Or is it?
Job Interview tips a review of the excellent Killer Interview Secrets by Robert Lawrence
Just think about how many job interviews you’ve had or will have during the course of your career.

Then broaden this to consider the amount of career related questions you will face, maybe as part of an informal chat with a boss, or a career question at a business gathering.

Bottom line – Job interviewing or answering career related questions is something everyone does a LOT of.

Now imagine you have the ability to communicate your skills and personality in an honest,  interesting, and effortlessly compelling way…

Whenever you want to

Whenever you need to

Even when your under pressure, and all eyes are on you!

Maybe the opening statement is an exaggeration, but I guarantee you the ability to answer tough career questions whether in a job interview or not…

Is worth a lot of money / job satisfaction / confidence / happiness.

As a professional recruiter I know the value of this skill, and believe passionately that everyone who invests some of their time into improving this skill will be rewarded tenfold.

I’ve also heard hundreds of reasons why people don’t make the effort, preferring instead to make excuses for poor performance.

I’ve heard it said to me that interviewing is about, “having the gift of the gab” or being able to “think on your feet” or having the confidence to “sell yourself”, and "you’ve either got it or you haven’t."

Well it’s not true!

Everyone can learn to communicate their “unique” skills and personality in an honest and compelling manner.

It can be taught  and therefore learned.

So how will Killer interview Secrets help you reach your peak performance?

  • 88 pages of detailed, interview strategies and unique interview winning information.
  • Complemented skilfully by using downloadable MP3 recordings to lighten the learning load.
  • Create a fast enjoyable learning experience that will get you offers.
  • Make your interview more enjoyable and turn it into successful job interview.

By showing you the 7 key traits that all companies look for, so you can honestly give them what they need to take you forward.

Identifying the 4 critical elements your answers must contain to succeed.

How to excel in all different types of interview, from behavioral to group interviews.

The ONLY 11 interview questions you will ever need to answer.

A simple, and easy to remember way to structure your answers. So you give the interviewer everything they need in honest and compelling story based answers.

How to build your confidence and destroy your mental landmines.

Job Interview tips a review of the excellent Killer Interview Secrets by Robert LawrenceGreat techniques to ensure you perform to your peak and help you to a successful job interview.

The Killer Interview Secrets eBook costs $17 and with the MP3’s $27 in total.

I would highly recommend paying the extra 10 bucks for the MP3 version.

The MP3 format enables the words to come to life, and makes learning a much quicker more enjoyable experience.

My only criticism would be Roberts example of your weakest interview answer. He suggests using something others may see as a strength and showing how it can sometimes be a weakness.

his example of being a bit of a "perfectionist" is often copied, and will have been heard before by experienced interviewers. Though Robert's beautifully crafted answer does cover this very well.

My view is this question gives you an opportunity to provide a unique and honest answer, which will make a refreshing change for the interviewer.

I suggest using Roberts story building technique, but apply it to a real weakness (nothing extreme that may risk your chances). The twist being to then explain how you recognised your weakness and have taken action to correct it.

For example if applying for a role that does not demand public speaking ability, tell the interviewer you are nervous of public speaking, and are currently taking a course on improving your public speaking performance.

You can explain that is for a non work related reason such as a wedding speech you are commited to, but that you also realise that your future career aspirations will require an ability to speak confidently in public.

This approach will not only answer the interviews question, but it will subtly show them that you are ambitious, goal orientated and mindful of your personal self development.

In closing the review, I especially like Robert’s focus on crafting honest and true answers.

How many companies do you know that don't want to employ staff committed to their own self development?

In closing the review, I especially like Robert's focus on crafting honest and true answers.

As a recruiter I’ve interviewed many people with great resumes and well rehearsed articulate answers, yet somehow they come across flat and not "real"

Roberts approach will ensure you craft honest, real answers that you will find far easier to deliver with enthusiasm and therefore personality.

I highly recommend this eBook and MP3

This alone is worth many times the cost.
