General Comments

The general rule of thumb for a resume / CV you should be aimed at being two pages in length with education generally at the end.

However, if you are a recent graduate this strength should be entered at the top of your academic attainments and don’t forget to include any languages you have and work experience overseas.

Top Tips:

Whatever country you are thinking about emigrating to, please remember some basic advice.

Always include your telephone number with the international dialling code and up to date Email address.

Another very important thing to remember is time zones. It would be a very good idea  to check how far forward or back there times are and make a suggestion when the best time to ring would be, otherwise you may get a call at 3 0’Clock in the morning  and you might not sound your best.

Read international press.

Check our foreign companies through the Internet.

Improve any foreign languages you have.
