ERM / BCM Expert
A major petrochemical company in the Middle East with global presence needs an ERM / BCM Expert in the Enterprise Risk Management Department. The position is located in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and offers excellent Tax Free benefits.
The job responsibilities and required qualifications are as follows:
• Assist the Global Business Continuity Management Manager in the development of the company-wide integrated ERM / BCM framework and specifications.
• Monitor adherence of the integrated ERM / BCM framework to global best practice and when necessary, provide recommendations for improvements to the process.
• Provide expertise to the Global ERM Department / Businesses in identification, assessment, management and mitigation of key risks, business processes and dependencies.
• Challenge and support business and process owners throughout the process.
• Identify high impact and systemic risks facing the company business and ensure that appropriate mitigation measures and Business Continuity Planning is in place.
• Challenge various businesses and functions on risk and BCM aspects during M&A, Joint Venture development, project implementation etc.
• Support businesses in the stage gate processes by providing critical risk input.
• Develop and deliver ERM & BCM training.
• Assist in the creation and delivery of presentations to Executive Management and the Risk Management Committee.
• Continuous improvement of the company integrated ERM / BCM framework.
• Increase ERM and BCM awareness across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
• Technical or Business degree.
• Relevant professional accreditation in risk management/accounting etc.
Experience
• 10 -15 years of professional experience including a minimum of 5 yrs in a senior risk management or BCM role.
• Prior experience in large organizations; preferably in multinational energy, utility, manufacturing or process business.
• Experience within several functions / roles (e.g. Business, Finance, Operations).
