Business Continuity Contract Job

This is a different Business Continuity Contract Job Advert.

Scott is Managing Director of Disastercom UK, a fast growing business continuity services & consulting firm.

As such we are interested in talking with people who may be considering, or are already working as contract business continuity professionals.

For current opportunities and future opportunites that will come through the course of next year.

When I say "current" opportunities I want to be clear that the BCM contract roles listed below, are "highly expected", as they are with existing customers of Disastercom UK, but as yet are not finalised.

Roles will be based in the M4 corridor region between Reading and Swindon, with daily rates around Ł350 per day plus VAT.

Required experience

Ideally a minimum of 3 years business contunuity experience with "SBCI" or "MBCI" accreditation.

Full BCM lifecycle project experience would be preferred, but we will be interested to talk with specialists as well.

BCM roles

For a large financial services firm - general BCM support to work as additional resource to an already large, well organised Business Continuity department. Experience within financial services would be an advantage.

For an International communications manufacturer - 3 BCM Contract roles covering

Business Applications risk assessment and corrective actions
IT Infrastructure (Networks) risk assessment and corrective actions
Finance Department - supporting various operational risk activities

Contracts are expected to be awarded prior to Christmas with start dates early January 2009.
